Blessing #5

Kami (Kamille) Sheffer, born May 23, 1982. She was the little girl who clung to me from day 1. Then wouldn't have anything to do with me when she found out she could do it herself. (2 years old) She loves being independent still, but is a huge support to me and the family now. She hasn't found Mr. Right yet, or he hasn't found her, but she is keeping her eyes open. He will be a wonderful guy when he does show up, cause Kami is a wonderful gal. She does a lot for people and her excitement is one package of dynamite that we all look forward to. In listing what she has done, I find her technology abilities are so appreciated. She's made the wedding videos, and copied CDs and DVDs for Sheila's wedding, when the kids were little, for her friends, for her class, for her life. She can figure it out. She helps me through the computer age too. She is a teacher. 6th grade loves her fun and exciting lessons -- this year they are Secret 007's when they go down the hall. Can you imagine the thrill of the 6th grade as they summersault in to the classroom? It makes me want to be in 6th grade all over again. She taught 2nd grade too for a few years. 6th grade scared her, but she made it through and this is her second year. She has also started an Orchestra program that as grown to 50+ kids. After graduating from BYU, she went on a mission to Kinnewick, WA but came home with a torn ACL. It was a real desire of hers to tell people about the gospel, so she still does it anyway. She is so much fun in our family and the neices and nephews love to have her come. She bought a house and takes care of it herself. She works hard -- is a runner -- continually from age 15. I saw her run the St. George Marathon and not even be out of breath. Now she has taken up biking a bit and has done a few races with that. She would be a good trainer, I love being with her. She is a real joy as a mother to her, it is my privilege. I hope she always knows this. Love, MOM
