To recap what has happened in 2020.

January. Haven Kai Mantz was born January 17, 2020. Raychel said she would like me to be there, and I went up before she was born. I played with Pyper and Deacon and Kitlyn and we had a great time going to the park, cleaning and getting ready for the baby. Paul woke me (actually I was still awake) and we went to the hospital with Ashlin and Shayden. Gavon was in charge of the little ones. She came and we got to see the tiny miracle that was Haven peeping out from under the covers. Raychel was so afraid she would be born before we could get there, but she was fine except that part of the sack did not come. It was heart shaped which was a warning sign. But Raychel was determined to teach her class in China. She did, which caused her not to get checked on by the nurses, and she had hemoraged pretty bad, so by noon she was rushed to surgery, and the kids and I were waiting at the hospital. Deacon and Kitlyn at home with a neighbor, and we were very much afraid for her life.

February. Paul left for Texas for training for 4 months. I did taxes for people on Tuesday and Thursday at the Care and Share.  This kept going until April.

March. The Pandemic hit. So did an earthquake. Raychel called to see if they could come down and live during all of the chaos up North. We said of course, and they came for 3 months. The pandemic was horrible, closing schools, The kids were all able to keep their jobs and most worked from home. Sheila and Jordan at the hospital were very busy. I cooked and stayed pretty busy that way, until schools began furnishing breakfast and lunch. That was a big help. Everything was cancelled. DUP, church, temples, restaurants, school went on line, 4h events, Tebbs Family Reunion, funerals, just everything. We wore masks and used hand sanitizer. quit visiting ministering assignments, This went on from March to January 2021 the writing of this letter. Thanks to Sheila Dean and I were able to get our vaccination shot. I miss my family, Mike, Linda, Julia Ann and Richard. We still kept our schedule to care for Dean's Dad. It kept him out of a home where he would be exposed to the virus thank goodness.

So that was the same for April and May. Luckily Raychel was there much of that time to keep us company and find happiness. June was the same. Cancelling Quilt Walk. But they did have the Balloon Festival but we did not do a Lion's Club Breakfast. I did make masks and cookies to sell.  Dean started fixing up the chicken coop and we started to build a nice patio in back.  Jordan and Dean-+

did the work.  Casey and Alisa spent some time in August working on it and having fun at the fair.  Cody came down to help special.  Dillon and Gavon and Parker spent a week helping out and Suzi came for a week where she sewed a laundry bag, learned the piano and chopped a lot of wood as well as practiced horse riding skills.

In June we had a big heart birthday for Parker.  He has had his heart for 12 years.  We said a thank you on a balloon and let them go up to heaven for the little girl who gave her heart to Parker.  Thank you is not enough for his life and memories we have had.  We also did a mini quilt walk at the ranch.  Raychel made a t shirt quilt, Trisa a camp quilt, Crystal masks and masks.  and Sheila made us dinners that included a strawberry rhubarb pie.  I made a bag.

In July we had a Family Reunion. It was at the ranch with all the fun we could think of. Food, Horse Rides, dig for money, games, crafts, tubing and canoeing down the river Spike Ball, Badmitten, church at the ranch. Kami came. The Sacrament has been held in homes where there was the Priesthood, and we had a testimony meeting at the ranch. Such a wonderful time by all.

August, We drove up to Washington to Levi's cabin and got to go to Reagan's baptism. All of Levi's family was there and there were 3 baby blessings (Levi's family) also. Dad and I rented our own little cabin on the lake. Also, Panguitch had the county fair. Covid had not reached Panguitch that much and they let us go ahead with the fair, quilt show and horse shoe tournament. We opened the concession stand for the Lions Club. All of our regular breakfasts were cancelled. AND a prayer was answered when Alisa became pregnant.

September Dean turned 70 and Parker 14.  School opened up again. With a few sports being allowed here. Alexis got to play Volley Ball. Masks were required. My big brother Richard passed away. He has been a huge part of my life, but slowly he was taken with Alzheimers. Many of our meetings were on line but church had not started yet in Panguitch. School on line was not an option here Beaver could do either, but for Cody's family it was. Raychel had some, Myla was able to do preschool. Kami began home school. Their girl's home was in need, but had to do home school. Crystal's kids started school. Ryan's on line for Suzi, Eric went to school. Luke graduated already. Sheila tried on line for Parker at BYU, but quickly got him back in school. I began a little preschool for Skyler. One little girl joined up and it has been a lot of fun teaching those sweet little dolls. Oh that they could remember the teachings and fun we've had.

October – Alexis and Jordan got Covid, then Ryan's family all came down with it. Everyone fared well but there have been some deaths in Panguitch. 7 to be exact.

Parker caught a giant fish while at Otter Creek with Grandpa Great, Lee, Dean and I.

Dean also entered the scare crow contest in town and won $25.00 for his Pan Witch.

November, we had Thanksgiving with Sheila's family. We had a nice big traditional dinner.

December, we spent a special Christmas with Dean's Dad. It was our weekend so we just spent all week with him. David was having some time off because his family had come down with the virus. All made it through. David did not get it.  We celebrated a lot in Panguitch before we left.

We had some special moments with Skyler and Lila at the Preschool. Crystal finished my Christmas quilt along with many more for other people. She is amazing as her talent grows and grows.
