No Rejection

Parker has made it with his new heart almost 1 year (June 10). He had his Cath Lab on Friday where they went in and took 5 biopsies of his heart. He came out of it smiling. He has had 9 of these and this was the best with a smile when he finished. He tries to be so good for everybody. Jordan, Sheila, Alexis and I spent the day in the hospital. He got to go home. It took about 11 hours from the time we left until we got home. It was draining, but seeing the Dr.'s come in with big smiles and OK's, it was wonderful. He has grown even where the stitching took place. He does not need another one for another year. He also has started walking this week. He loves to show everyone things, like his new shoes and how pleased he is about something he can do. They are a blessed family. Alexis feels so secure in this nice family. They receive lots of love and support from so many people. It has been a fight for life, it still is, but in lots of ways they have won the years for Parker. To get to spend his life here with them, is such a blessing.
