The 12
Months of Christmas at the Sheffers
On the first
Month of January we moved up to Riverton to help Sheila and Jordan
tend their new little baby Skyler who was born in November so that
she could finish her nursing degree. This is his 1 year birthday.
On the second
month of February Dean and I went to the Provo Temple for Valentines
Day. After dinner at the temple we walked where we were engaged in
1973. It had changed quite a bit, but the spot is still there.
There was even a big beautiful white perfect rose and a lovely
diamond ring.
On the third
month of March Dean substitute taught for Jordan School District and
spent a lot of his time with his Dad who is 90. I would spend many
weekends with Raychel while Paul was away with National Guard work.
Getting twins and 4 kids to church by 9:00 is lots of work and
Raychel does it.
On the 4th
month of April we got to spend some time with Ryan and Bridget's kids
while they went to New Zealand to finish Bridget's dissertation. We
went to JR Temple open house with kids and also watched Sage and Brook for Crystal and Jared.
On the 5th
month of May we were able to celebrate Trisa's graduation from SUU
with her and Jared! She is teaching at the Elementary School Sp Ed.
+ their Holly returned from her mission in Florida! Karri still out
in Iowa!
On the 6th
month of June we moved back to Panguitch and began summer with Lion's
club breakfasts, Festivals and Cody and kids coming while Lisa went
to England with American Festival Chorus.
On the 7th
month of July Cody's Lee was ordained a Deacon and we also had Dean
Sheffer Family Reunion under the direction of Alisa and Casey at
Lagoon! Raychel and Paul came to Panguitch with their crew for Bday
at Guidos. (mine). Dean became Lion's Club President.
On the 8th
month of August Bridget's reward came in the form of Dr. Sheffer! We
were busy at the Co. Fair. Dean with Horse shoe Tournament me with
Crafts. Luke ran a snack shack as he was chosen Music Ambassador for Utah. Hunter, Eric Dillon came to help.
On the 9th
month of September Kami's Riley was baptized in WA. We got to
celebrate with Sheila and Jordan as she graduated Ameritec RN
Degree!
On the 10th
month of October we received a special new grandbaby #33. Madilyn.
Kami and Levi gave us this one! She's a beauty. Baby 5 for them.
On the 11th
month of November we got to rest up a little, finish up a few quilt
tops and make stuff. Crystal and Jared filled their deer tags for
the year and Crystal got to use her new quilting machine a lot.
On the 12th
month of December we think what we can give back for Christmas. Our
gratitude is overflowing with love we have for all of you and for
the Savior, We are so grateful for every comfort and every blessing.
